1. Take a bowl lined with aluminum foil. (shiny side up) 2. Place sterling silver jewelry in bowl and sprinkle with a small amount of powdered laundry detergent. (Cheer or Tide)(1/2 to 1 tsp.) NO BLEACH 3. Add hot tap water and stir silver jewelry for a FEW SECONDS. You can repeat this step if necessary. 4. Remove silver jewelry and rinse with warm water. 5. Wipe silver jewelry dry and buff with a polishing cloth if desired.
You may need to experiment with the amount of detergent and the length of time silver jewelry is left in the solution. Storing your clean sterling silver jewelry and silver charm bracelets in a Ziploc bag keeps it looking bright longer.
*It's very important to use 10-15 second increments to achieve the shine you desire.
Q. I have bought several charms from Dixie's to be put on a charm bracelet, but I would like them soldered. What do you charge?
All charms purchased from Dixie's include soldering at NO CHARGE. If you need several charms soldered to one bracelet, please specify where you would like the charms to go on the bracelet.
Q. I have charms that did not come from Dixie's. Will you still solder those charms on my bracelet?
Yes we will. The charge is $3.00 per charm regardless of the number of charms.
Q. Does Dixie's Have Gift Cards?
